Throughout this print layout I utilized a minimal, airy color palette derived from imagery of Norway's landscape. These design choices cultivated a luxury look and feel to the editorial.
The overlapping type helps break the catalog from a rigid grid system and allows for a more playful, modern integration.

Skateboarding at it's core is all about being different. In spirit of this sport, I designed something outside of my norm, utilizing strictly gray-scale on the interior spreads of the Skaterzine.
By altering the header type to stretch and compress, I intentionally broke design rules to capture the non-conformity that is the culture of skateboarding.
